I can barely find my words to describe my feelings this time because each photo will speak a thousand words.
Since we started planning our wedding last year we decided to have an engagement session at some point and just before Easter we managed to have some time and think about the details for this photo shoot. We love the forest, its beauty and solitude, we love natural landscapes and warm light so of course the perfect setting for this session was into the woods and at the right hour…just in time to chase the sunset.
Extremely nervous and a bit left handed, laughing silly and asking too many questions about how to pose at the beginning (there was no need to pose, just to act natural, let loose and relax), we ended up having the time of our lives! Watching the result of this experience, we were delighted to see how our lovely photographers, Land of White Deer, captured exactly what we wanted: the joy, the love, the innocence, the fun, the looks we gave to each other, our green eyes, our emotions, our story!
I am not the one to give advice, but from my personal experience I can say that love, respect and trust are essential in a relationship, together with having a great time together and never getting bored! All we did along the years was transform our dreams in reality, follow our hearts and create our own little fairytale and I think we did it pretty well looking at the photos.
All I can say about the engagement session is IT WAS AMAZING, let’s do it again!
So if you are getting married this year or next year, don’t hesitate and book a pre-wedding session! There is no such a big deal and it’s really fun and think about the memories you will have forever.
Thank you, Dana and George from Land of White Deer for making all this possible and for capturing all the little things and little moments that matter the most! We couldn’t have had better photographers! Thank you for all the encouragement, for all the jokes and of course, for the lovely result! We are so excited to work with you for our big event this year and many others in the future (Alex didn’t joke about that annual photo shoot).
If you want to see more of their work, visit their website http://www.landofwhitedeer.com/ and be amazed! We fell in love the minute we saw some of the pictures.
And now…don’t be afraid and take your hearts for a walk in the woods, listen to the magic whispers of old trees and feel welcome in our love story (just a part of it). And not to brag, but I think we are really cute together!
Lots of love,
And I swear…in his arms I felt like home.
