It’s a spring fling!
If you haven’t yet, this spring is definitely the time to add statement shirts to your closet.
I have to admit I am in love with simple but eye-catchy cotton shirts this season. White, baby blue, powder pink or even gray – they are must have pieces of the year! And most of all, a beautiful shirt is also a classic that adapts to every trend and never goes out of style.
There are so many options right now that are feminine, flirty and perfect for spring. All you have to do is go to the mall for a quick shopping session or check the online stores for various models. Simple, with ruffle sleeves, invisible buttons, pearls, sequin details, colored seam, fancy collar or funny patches – each of them can transform your daily outfit into a real example of street style.
And if you thought shirts are made for business days only, well…you were wrong. Together with cute, colored pieces they make a great choice for a casual stroll on a sunny day!
I wore a blue maxi shirt with silver buttons on the sides, mustard green ruffle skirt and a chic pattern scarf. For a soft touch of chic I added some nude crochet tights and neutral shoes and bag to let my shirt be the star. And although the weather was a darling when I took the photos, with such a fresh, easy and comfortable outfit, I could have had sunshine even on a cloudy day.
Of course, you can also mix a cool shirt with ripped jeans and stilettos for a night out with the girls, with running pants and a pair of Converse for a brunch on a Saturday or with a pleated pink skirt and elegant nude heels for a day at the office. The options are endless, just set free your imagination and your desire to shine.
So, loves, go buy some shirts just in time for Easter! I would add some red details and a nice skirt for a perfect holiday lunch with the family, but there are many bold accessories in different color that also match perfectly with a simple shirt.
Patch kisses ready to be sewed on shirts…just for you, my happy readers!
