Spring is in the air
The sun shined so bright this Sunday I couldn’t have stayed inside! The unbelievable warm weather surprised me, but also reminded me Spring is just around the corner. And I mean literally. Today is officially the last day of winter! Hooray!
But let’s get back to the weekend when I decided to go for a walk in the Mogosoaia Park wearing my bye-bye-winter-hello-spring outfit, something in between for a day at the border of two seasons. I wanted to be comfortable because spring is all about comfort, warm breeze and spending time in nature. So I put my boyfriend jeans on (and some crochet tights underneath), a kaki cozy sweater and a gray knitted oversized cardigan and went straight by the lake gazing at the blue sky above. After wearing only boots during winter, I was more than happy to put on some stylish oxford shoes. And I was not cold. I felt the wind just a little bit blowing throw my hair but it felt good. This warm wind gave me energy and draw a smile on my face. I cant’t believe that winter is almost over. I love wearing fluid skirts, cute dresses, stilettos and girly ballerinas, sunglasses and silk shirts covered only by a blazer perfect for a day at the office.
No more infinite layers. No more gloves, wool scarves and coats. No more fluffy sweaters. On Sunday I started mixing my winter wardrobe with some spring pieces. I hope you liked my outfit and I am waiting for your comments below describing your favorite transition outfit for the end of February.
But one thing is for sure: nice, colorful clothes are on their way and of course a spring shopping spree is required.
Sunny days ahead, lovelies, and let spring begin!
Kisses,
Arina
I was wearing:
Shoes: Musette
Bag: Zara
Cardigan: New Yorker
Sweater: Amsterdam local shop
Jeans: Vintage jeans
Sunglasses: H&M
Watch: Marc Jacobs
Stardust Bracelet: Swarovski
Tights: Calzedonia
Loving the outfit, dear!
I’m also into neutrals no matter the season and adding a hint of colour always saves the day (the secret’s in the details). I picture myself wearing a maxi nude sweater tucked into a white pair of skinny jeans aaand of course heels (I only wear flats when I have to)- I prefer the stilettos – and a crossbody tiny bag in a bright powerful colour. I’m also a fan of ponchos and I think they’re perfect for this kind of weather and you have countless ways to accesorize them nicely. So are leather jackets and the list could go on forever…what is a girl to do πππ
Cheers! Keep up the good work! π
Sandrine, I feel you! Neutrals are always a good idea! I also love wearing high heels when I go out. They are very feminine and make us look taller (hihi). We’ll talk more at NoaRestoclub. Kisses, A.
For this transitional period ( because it’ not quite spring but not quite winter ), I will choose as a suitable outfit : a pair of comfy jeans with a White (Boyfriend) shirt and a looooong cardigan to keep you butt warm πwith leather sneakers / sport shoes. XoXo Dear π
Thank you for the thoughts, M! White shirts are one of my favorite pieces! They are so versatile and elegant no matter the situation. Kiss, A.
