Sweater weather
Hello, fashionistas!
While working on a few special posts for next week, I wanted to show with you a cozy but elegant outfit that I wore on Saturday. I think it’s perfect for a lunch in town at the end of winter (hopefully it will end…soon!) and I’m sure you will love it as much as I do.
You already know that I adore lovely fabrics, that keep me warm and that are comfortable to wear. My choice for this weekend was a pair of gray jacquard pants with a shiny snake print all over, combined with my vintage shetland wool sweater which is older than me (no joke). Style is beyond fashion trends. Style is something that talks about you in the most sincere way without saying a word. Your life might not be perfect, but your outfit can be! If you wear it with the right attitude and if it’s about you! I went for a chic fifty shades of gray with a hint of electric pink-burgundy outfit mostly because I wanted to create a monochromatic outlay but then I felt I had to spice things up a little and I think it worked! I’ve never seen elegance go out of style, so I took my velvet quilted bag and a pair of classic stilettos to match and I was ready to go…but before some photos, please!
A nice combo can be made with statement pieces from your wardrobe but in my case, I started mixing different types of fabric and patterns in order to create an outfit that represents me and looks good on me as well. I have to confess that the first piece of clothing I took from my wardrobe was the comfy sweater. One thing led to another and I found this sweater weather look.
Regarding the color palette, just to explain myself, I have developed an obsession with grays lately. It’s like gray is the new black, at least this season and I wear it as often as I can in various combinations: business casual for a day at the office, sporty-chic for a quick trip to the mall or lady-like for a fancy night out with friends. Whatever your style is, wearing gray (together with bold accessories) is incredibly fashionable.
So what are your favorite ways to wear gray this winter? Life is short, make every outfit count! Share your thoughts below and lets inspire each other!
Kisses!
Arina
