You can never go wrong with a little pink…
Waking up this Saturday and seeing the sun shining so bright made me feel so fresh and enthusiastic thinking about the upcoming month: February (to whom it may concern, I love this month not because of Valentine’s day, but mostly because there are a few days left until my birthday!!!).
Checking my busy schedule for the day (important meetings to attend, wedding related most of them), I felt like wearing a lady like outfit, something classy, but with a hint of doll.
I really like leaving a little sparkle everywhere I go and for this day my candy-cotton pink wool coat with elegant silver buttons was the perfect choice. Pink makes everything pretty, even the gray streets of Bucharest and it’s also very representative for the month of love which crossed my mind since the early morning.
I love wearing pastel colors in every season because they make me feel like a little princess. They express so much energy and good vibes around the person who wears them and they also brighten up the day, making your life even better.
For me, this coat is a statement piece and in order to make it shine even more, I opted for a monochromatic outfit underneath: black and white striped top with a chic detail down the sleeves (a little black ruffle followed by four cute pearls), black pencil pants and black ankle boots. I also almost ready to go, but not before I chose some subtle accessories: my quilted velvet bag, a pair of swarovski earrings together with my personalized initial letter necklace, which I simply adore, being a special gift from my friends for my 18-years old birthday (long time ago…) and my engagement ring, of course, although it’s not an accessory, it become a part of me and I wear it all the time, regardless of my daily style.
Having the camera with me everywhere I go, I could take a few shots and show you my above mentioned outfit (real story: my boyfriend was tortured to death at zero degrees in order to get some cool pictures…but then we went for lunch at one of our favorite places in town – AdHoc Bistro – to eat some good food and warm up with a cappuccino, so he wasn’t that angry after all).
I hope you fancy the outfit I wore on this sunny but freezing Saturday and I wait for your comments about your favorite winter pieces of clothing!
